Arch of the Rising Sun, a temporary structure built for the Pan Pacific International Exhibition held in 1915. The 1915 fair was held to show the world that San Francisco was now rebuilt after the destruction of the 1906 earthquake.

The Sutro Baths had 9 heated pools filled with sea water. Patrons had to rent wool bathing suits in order to swim there. It burned down in the 1960's. The foundation of the pools may still be explored.
